How To Subscribe to Heja Calendars on Android Devices

My child's sport team uses Heja to communicate. The app provides a web link to subscribe to the team schedule calendar, but very little information on how to do it, and the google instructions are not very useful either. So here is a detailed procedure for subscribing to them.
  1. On your android device, open Heja
  2. Tap "schedule"
  3. Tap on the kebab menu (the three dots) in the upper right corner
  4. Tap "subscribe to team schedule"
  5. Tap "copy link"
  6. Open gmail (or some other app you can message yourself with)
  7. Send yourself an email
  8. Paste the link into the email
  9. Repeat steps 1-8 for your other heja teams
  10. Get on your laptop
  11. Open the email you sent yourself
  12. Copy the webcal link
  13. Open your google calendar
  14. Click the + next to "other calendars" in the left side bar
  15. Click "subscribe to calendar"
  16. In the left bar under "add calendar" click "from URL"
  17. Paste in the webcal URL
  18. Check the "make calendar public" box so you can share the google link you are about to create and save your teammates these steps
  19. Click "add calendar"
  20. Give the calendar a meaningful name
  21. Scroll down to "public URL"
  22. Copy it and share it with your team
  23. On your android device once again...
  24. Open google calendar
  25. tap on the hamburger menu (the 3 lines) in the upper corner to open the sidebar
  26. Swipe up to the bottom and tap "settings"
  27. Find your gmail address
  28. If the new team calendar doesn't show up here, tap "show more"
  29. If it still doesn't show up here, power off your phone, and back on, and come back to this point
  30. Tap on the team calendar
  31. Tap "sync" to turn on syncing switch
At this point you should be able to see your team calendar on your phone and your laptop.
