How to Make QSO Maps from your Ham Radio Logs Part 2/5

Plotting QSO Data

In this step we will take the georeferenced QSO data and plot it on an equidistant azimuthal map of the world.

First open the qthmap.qgs project file from my Equidistant Azimuthal Mapping Toolkit. You should see something like this



Next, add new layers for your geospatial QSO data files. Go to the "Layer" menu and click "Add Vector Layer". Click "Browse" and select your lines file. You should see something like this



Click "Open". Now you should see something like this:
